Game Night!Andrew's Hoops For Hope night couldn't have gone better. We sold all of the Chuck-a-Ducks, sold out of most sizes in T-Shirts, and didn't stop selling tickets for the raffle. We had over $2,500 worth of items in our raffle. Friday night, we came early and set up our tables and decorated the gym. I was selling T-Shirts as early as 5:30! We were busy almost the whole time. We raised so much money with everything we set up, but the best was the donations from our loyal Dragon Fans! One man even gave us $500! So, the grand total of the night was $3,700! We were blown away at how generous our community was and how passionate everyone was about supporting the Eyerman Family. Our project took a lot of hard work from many people in our class, but it was worth it! We wrote thank you letters to all the Sponsors, the Athletic Department, The Basketball Team, The Stephens Family, Mrs. Benson, and the guy from Greenfield Bank that made the huge donation!

Hoops for Hope
My class and I have developed a project that supports a family in the community. We are doing a Cancer Awareness Game February 11th. All proceeds go to The Eyerman Family. Andrew Eyerman is a kindergartener at Sugar Creek Elementary School. He was diagnosed with cancer and his family needs our community support. We need to raise money for his family! We are doing Chuck-a-Duck Table, Cheerleaders with buckets, and Raffle Baskets. We are doing 7 different types of raffle baskets that we have over $1500 worth of stuff inside. Mr. large also made t-shirt designs that we are selling shorts sleeves ($15) and long sleeves ($20). My partner and I are in charge of creating the family basket. It includes Strike Force Lanes Family Pass, Indianapolis Zoo Tickets, and 2 – 60-minute jump passes, 2 Sky Zone bracelets, and a Sky Zone mini football. The retail value on this is $43. Although this is a great turn out, we did actually call many other businesses that we weren't successful with. I also created a flyer in photoshop that gives information for the raffle baskets. It isn't finished because we are still adding to our baskets, but I will post the final one on my next post. |
